Many choices exist for fun near home this weekend, requiring only modest travel, or even a bike ride to get there!  Here are just a few of the many things to do in Stockton this weekend:

Movies at Weber Point, tonight, 6:30 PM, at Weber Point (second Fridays through October).  Tonight’s movie is “The Sandlot”, bring blankets or low chairs, no alcohol allowed; best of all, its a free event!  Info: 937.8206.

Second Saturday Family Bike Ride, starts this Saturday, 10 AM, at Brookside School, 2962 Brookside Road and travels along the Calaveras Bike Trail; open to all ages and riding skills; kids must have helmets, adults should, too!  Info: 406.3951.

Stockton Auto Show, Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 7 PM, at the Stockton Arena.  Adults, $10, Seniors $8, kids under 12, free.  See new models from 15 auto dealers, and RVs, too!  Info: 373.1400.

Kids Club at Lincoln Center: Saturday, 10 AM to Noon, with construction fun and live music, and, it’s free!

For more insights into family fun, right in your backyard, go to two great local event sites with lively calendars: www.visitstockton.org (our local Visitors and Convention Bureau) or www.visitstockton.com (the E-Stockton site)!
