Going food trucks one better

How’s this for an idea: a “mobile beer garden” to bring more people to city parks. In Milwaukee, of course.

Next, perhaps, mobile cannabis dispensaries. It’s only a matter of time.

Which reminds me. Back in 1999, two Stockton guys acquired the van Cheech and Chong used in “Up in Smoke,” the one made of “marijuana.” Here’s that story. Wonder if that van is still around?

This just in (11:08 a.m.): A reader writes, “It’s still in Stockton. You can spot it in the driveway of the home across from Advanced Mini Storage on Mount Diablo. Even shows up on Google maps.”
