Why the city is scalping Franklin (cont’d)

A reader responds to the post (below) about the city’s harsh offer to its last unresolved major creditor:

“Remember the City’s pre-bankruptcy “Ask?”  Franklin was originally offered 50 cents on the dollar, but they refused.  It would appear their aggressive approach has failed and they are now claiming disparate treatment and bad faith.  It’s not bad faith, it’s bad lawyering on their part.  They went with a legal posture that isn’t working out and now they are blaming the City and sniveling to anyone who would listen.”
