Not to suggest anything is amiss — heaven forbid — but what I would like to know about the One Voice trip our leaders make annually to Washington D.C. is, how many go? And how many need to go?
Certain veterans of this trip speak of oversize delegations. Of too many folks to cram into meetings with top legislators. Of people waiting outside in the halls, musing over where to dine that night.
Who ensures the delegation remains a high-functioning squad and not a brigade on a junket?
