Rep. Denham: “Tea stained”

Americans United for Change released its first “Tea Party Scorecard” showing which Republicans voted the Tea Party line. Even those from moderate districts — districts that voted for Obama over Romney — march to the Tea Party tune.

Rep. Jeff Denham, who represents south San Joaquin County, voted with the Tea Party a whopping 79 percent of the time.

A breakdown of his votes here.

“The votes  … represent the Tea Party’s core values – obsession with the Affordable Care Act – or the Tea Party’s major accomplishment for 2013 – shutting down the government,” the press release says.
