Good riddance, pesky plant

I’m playing catch-up after a week’s vacation.

Chamber CEO Douglass Wilhoit sends this photo of Stockton’s waterfront, purged of pesky water hyacinth thanks to the Port of Stockton.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Thanks to all who helped to get this cleaned up, including Mother Nature, who changed the wind direction (E. to W.) to help push the week towards Rick Hatton, who worked like a beaver to haul away to much over a short period of time,” Wilhoit writes. 

Which means clear sailing for Dec. 7th’s Lighted Boat Parade.
