The MoBee takes down Congressman Jeff Denham for not voting to end the government shutdown.
“Yes, he’ll only accept the perfect solution, even if waiting for that creates chaos. It’s easy to spout the ideal, but day-to-day governing requires compromise and collaboration.”
But the Tea Party won’t compromise. They’re not fighting over-spending, they’re fighting the perceived evils of the modern world, championed by Barrack Hussein Obama.
“(Denham’s) vote against ending the shutdown clearly aligned him with extremists rather than what was in the best interest of his California constituents and the country,” the Bee writes.
So what’s the difference between aligning with extremists and being one?
Perhaps we’ll learn in January, when another government fudning bill will be needed. Though many Republicans learned their lesson over their shutdown fiasco, just as many are champing at the bit for a rematch.
“We’ll be looking for any opportunity,” said Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), quoted in this WaPo story
. “We took a shot at it and we fell short, and I think we are waiting around for another battle over Obamacare.”
Once bitten, twice obtuse.
If Denham casts his lot with the obstructionists again, instead of finding a constructive, Democratic way to advance his fiscal agenda, then it’ll be time to reclassify him.
