That’s a Fresno auto shop owner being uprooted the the High Speed Rail Administration. The HSRA is using eminent domain to clear out the route of the first leg of California’s high-speed-rail system.
It’s not all bad. Some people make a virtue of necessity. Look at Cancun restaurant here. It was elbowed out to make way for the multiplex. It relocated nearby in a better building, next to a theater that delivers approximately 1 million people a year to the vicinity. They’re doing fine.
