‘I feel that I’m, y’know, maybe a lone wolf.’

Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva appeared on Capital Public Radio’s show “Insight” this morning. 

Silva did what he does best, which is to repeat a simple message: “I’m the people’s mayor.” Unfortunately, by way of making this point he repeatedly insulted the council as “robots” marching in “lockstep.” He even implied that even as council meetings transpire, the puppets on the dais receive instruction by text message from their masters.

Of city staff he said, “I still don’t trust them yet.”

He added he’s easy to work with.
