The gravy train

Gov. Brown’s pension reforms were disappointingly modest. But The Teamsters union wants to exempt 20,000 state transportation workers from them, anyway.

Cutting public employee unions a break from needed reform would undermine the trust voters placed in Gov. Brown and the legislature when approving a tax hike. But of course the Teamsters can’t see beyond their wallets.
