Hating high-speed rail

Despite all the haters, California’s high-speed rail system, so promising for the Valley, is moving forward, the SacBee reports.

Good news. The drive to L.A. is a bear. How great it would be to whisk down there in a couple hours.

Besides, California needs to execute big public works projects. It’s a big state. We tend to get hung up on its dysfunction, but it’s still capable of dazzling the world.

Meanwhile, Valley Amtrak is growing, too.
