Stockton’s latest rim shot

It’s not hollow self-esteem building to say Stockton is unlike anyplace else. Even other Valley cities. Modesto may have a lot going for it, but not trade with South Korea.  

Details are sketchy, but the Koreans are reportedly interested in Lodi wine and Valley nuts; and may reciprocate with technology exports.

I find that remarkable. Here we are, 90 miles from the Golden Gate, yet every bit as much a Pacific Rim city as San Francisco.
