Dan Lundgren, R-Gold Hill, is an anomaly: a Republican who wants to restore Hetch Hetchy.

We’ve written how restoring “the second Yosemite” would affect Stockton and the Delta.

Alas, Lundgren’s maverick stand has not won over the Sierra Club. It has come out against him. Something about “oily politics.”
