Isaak’s surprise concert

Chris Isaak made a surprise appearrance at the Wedesday concert in Victory Park, playing a 2 and 1/2 hour set with his brother Nick Isaak, whose band was featured.

Marlene Hnath was there. She writes:

“Hey, for those of you who think nothing is safe OR  fun in Stockton, the ‘Concerts in the Park’ at Victory Park on Wednesday nite REALLY showed us how much fun we can have in this town.

“Nick Issack was the band of the nite.  However, much to the delightful surprise of everyone, he had his brother Chris Issak on the stage with him.  We were privileged to enjoy 2 1/2 hours of a Chris Issac show for ‘free’.   …well, maybe not for free…I think Chris was paid union scale for the evening.

“These concerts in the park are actually safe and fun. …a treat for senior citizens.

“YES, some of us senior citizens were up and dancing !!!  The cameras were clicking….amazing how many seniors have cameras on their phones?  This was one heck of a fun evening.”

The concert in the park series concludes next Wednesday with the ABBA tribute band Waterloo.
