Seen any pelicans?

The San Jose Mercury News says pelicans are moving inland, including to Stockton.

Welcome, pelicans.

That’s the marvelous thing about living on the Delta: anything can happen. Sightings of pelicans, dolphin, seals, even Humphrey the Whale. It’s part of the Stockton paradox: boondocks to some, yet connected to the wider world by a wondrous water system.
