VOTE for Emergency Food Bank today!

The Emergency Food Bank and Family Services of Stockton and San Joaquin County submitted a cause with State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist Program 2014 and were accepted for the Growing Green, Eating Lean program. The first 4,000 causes were accepted. A panel of youth reviewed all of the causes and narrowed them down to the top 200. Emergency Food Bank made the Top 200. Of the top 200, 40 organizations will receive $25,000. Here is where the Emergency Food Bank needs the community’s help. They need as many people as possible to vote 10 times a day on Facebook at for the next three weeks until May 17. The Emergency Food Bank is listed as “Growing Green Eating Lean.” The 40 organizations with the most votes will receive funding. This is possible, since the odds of receiving funding are better than making it into the top 200.
