More on stolen campaign signs

Stockton mayoral candidate Anthony Silva wrote in response to story on campaign signs that many of his signs have disappeared. “But at least 40 large signs have been taken, and so that value is around $2,000. Residents report it to me on Facebook and call me but it is always too late to catch anyone. You would think that with the camera systems that the city claims are now once again being monitored, we could catch someone. Many of them have been slashed with a knife in a similar pattern. I do believe that by 48 hours after any election all signs should be removed by the candidate so our city streets are clean.”
