Gas prices dropping today

Gas appeared to peak Tuesday in the Stockton market and is showing a slight drop in prices at the pump today. Based on the average price for regular provided daily by AAA of Northern California, today’s average is $4.56 a gallon compared with $4.57 on Tuesday. That is 1 cent below the all-time high of $4.58 hit in June 2008.
