Photos that will make you smile

19748_291100277767_285719907767_3380072_962823_nOn Friday, Feb. 5, 10 members of the San Joaquin Dental Society and several volunteers, including students from University of the Pacific’s dental hygiene program, gave up several hours of their valuable time for a whole bunch of disadvantaged kids. The program, called Give Kids a Smile Day, is a nationwide effort to help poor children up through age 17 get free dental screenings and, if called for, free follow-up care. According to organizer – and future dental student – Ivan Chiccon of Stockton: “It was a huge success! Thanks for helping us make it happen. Your collaboration is truly appreciated.” Well Ivan, you and your mom, Stockton dentist Dr. Lita Rodriguez, are the ones who should be lauded for your selfless efforts, along with all those who volunteered. Take a look at the photos at the following link. They will definitely make you smile.
