On the Stagg budget forum, electives, SLCs and Success For All
The turnout at Stagg last night was much better than that at Franklin the night before. I’d guess about 60 people were in the Stagg auditorium at one time or another and it lasted about 90 minutes, as opposed to 40 minutes the night before at Franklin.

Small turnout for SUSD’s first public budget forum
Tonight, SUSD held the first of four public forums on the district’s budget situation. SUSD is expecting funding cuts from the state to result in 2010-11 budget cuts of at least $20.1 million.

A busy week begins
Stockton Unified and Lincoln Unified both have meetings this week, SUSD on Tuesday, LUSD on Wednesday.
SUSD’s meeting will be a budget study session. The district is looking at cutting at least $20.1 million from its 2010-11 budget and may learn in January of midyear cuts, too. Click here to view the Stockton Unified agenda.
