Lincoln Live — 8:44 p.m. — $5 million cut
Yesterday, SUSD officials said the district needs to cut $28.5 million from its 2010-11 budget.
Lincoln officials just said they expect to have to cut $5 million from their budget. SUSD has about 38,000 students. Lincoln has about 8,000.

Lincoln Unified student trustee Sadia Saifuddin spoke briefly. She said she is hoping Lincoln, Lodi and Stockton students can collaborate to raise funds to help victims of the horrible tragedy in Haiti.
