Comcast “cares” at Acacia school

Acacia Elementary, a Stockton charter school, got a makeover with the help of Comcast.

From Comcast media relations director Bryan Byrd:

150 Comcast employees and their families joined with students and parents from the school to spend the morning planting, installing benches, painting, landscaping and cleaning up the grounds at the school.   The volunteer effort was part of the 13th “Comcast Cares Day,” the largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the United States.  In California, more than 4,000 Comcast employees, their families and friends did volunteer work at 16 schools or community-based organizations.
