Edison’s spot in the State of the Union

A photo of Edison High School’s STEM program was posted next to Pres. Barack Obama during the State of the Union broadcast on YouTube. The photo didn’t run on all feeds or on TV, but was part of the Enhanced Video offered by the White House.

District spokeswoman Dianne Barth said the White House did not contact SUSD about the photo, and wasn’t sure why or how they chose Edison. The district is glad they did, though.

The video above will go straight to the portion of the speech where the photo is shown. If you get lost, it’s right around the 27:10 mark.
