This comes from Health Careers Academy Principal Traci Miller (via colleague Joe Goldeen):
“On April 2 from 6:00p.m.-7:00 pm, information regarding HCA will be presented to interested families and students who will be entering the ninth, 10th or 11th grades next year. The event will be held at Health Careers Academy located inside University Park at 931 E. Magnolia. HCA is a charter school, which means students can attend HCA regardless of school attendance boundary zones. Students from Lodi, Linden, Lathrop and Manteca attend our school . After the informational presentation, our partners Kaiser School of Allied Health and CSU Stanislaus Stockton Center will be opened for families to tour their facilities to see what is going on inside of University Park. HCA provides a technical and rigorous college prep curriculum with an emphasis in health careers that offers a unique learning experience. The school will be limited to 600 students when it reaches full capacity in the 2014-2015 school year. Next year we will have ninth-, 10th- and 11th-graders with our first graduating class occurring in 2015.”
For more information, call the school at (209) 933-7360 or send an email.
