Three of the five largest school districts in San Joaquin County are divided into geographic sections from which board members are elected. The exceptions are Tracy Unified and Lincoln Unified.
Soon, though, Lincoln may adopt trustee areas. A discussion on the topic is scheduled for tonight’s tomorrow night’s board meeting at John R. Williams Elementary. A vote could be coming a few months down the road.
Here’s the information on tonight’s discussion item. Despite what it says in the link, there is no attached map — unless you happen to be one of the five Lincoln board members. The proposed map will be released publicly tomorrow.
