SUSD Live — Public comment

Tonight’s agenda.

One public comment, from Beth Flock from foods class at Stagg: she said they have worked out an agreement with Royce Farms BBQ to give her students work experience. Also, some Delta culinary students will be working with Stagg students, and some Stagg students will be spending some time with the Delta culinary program. She’s concerned the program could be a budget casualty, so she came to the meeting to inform the board about the program’s progress. The board members were given muffins from made by the students. Superintendent Steve Lowder said the ROP program should be safe.
