SUSD may look to increase student involvement in solving problems on campuses

Two programs intended to improve the climate at SUSD’s high schools are on the agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting. One month ago today, the paper published this article on Superintendent Steve Lowder’s plan to propose the programs, which are geared toward greater involvement of students in the efforts to make and maintain campus peace.

The programs are the United States Department of Justice Community Relations Service and the PLUS Program. PLUS stands for Peer Leaders Uniting Students.
