Online credit-recovery program may be headed to Edison High School

On Jan. 6, my story about Superintendent Steve Lowder’s desire to bring an AdvancePath Academy to Stockton Unified appeared in the paper. Students work online in this program and can rapidly catch up on their credits.

If approved Tuesday night by the board at a cost not to exceed $280,000, the program should be coming to Edison High sometime this school year. The contract runs through June 2015. The district’s proposal is here.
