The holidays were such a drag. Weeks and weeks overeating, oversleeping and laying on the couch watching football with a six-pack of beer and a dozen donuts. No time at all spent sitting for hours in stuffy boardrooms at various district offices.
Well, our long national nightmare is over.
Here are this week’s school-board meetings (Wednesday will be like March Madness in January; I wish I could be cloned so I could be three places at once):
6 p.m. Tuesday, Stockton Unified: Regular board meeting.
5 p.m. Wednesday, Stockton Unified: Resources and Infrastructure Committee.
5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Academy of Business, Law and Education: Organizational meeting.
7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Lincoln Unified: Regular board meeting at Brookside Elementary.
