The Registrar of Voters has said not to expect final vote totals until all provisional ballots are counted, which might not be until the end of the month or early December. Still, we just got a small update heading into the weekend.
The latest is that incumbent Gloria Allen’s lead in Stockton Unified Area 1 has grown by another 10 votes, to 59 votes. Allen’s lead is now 2,202-2,143 over challenger Monica Hernandez.
In Area 3, Kathy Garcia’s lead over incumbent Jose Morales remains commanding (2,208-1,679). Garcia’s lead is now 529 votes, a lead of eight additional votes from the previous update. In Area 4, challenger Colleen Keenan continues to lead Angel Jimenez. The edge is now 3,836-3,545, a 291-vote margin that has increased by three votes since the previous update.
