For those who don’t know how this works, the reporter covering the story (me, in this case) does not get a say. Reporters are expected to be neutral on the subjects they cover, so I will not and cannot share my opinion on Lincoln Unified’s new policy of drug testing its high school athletes.
Opinions are arrived at by our editorial board, a mysterious cabal of men and women garbed in dark cloaks that operates in a shadowy, smoke-filled room in an undisclosed location. Today’s opinion piece makes it clear where the editorial board stands on Lincoln’s new policy.
