SUSD Live — Like they had a plane to catch

The board continues to steam through the agenda, approving everything with no discussion.

At Item 7.1, Lowder was asked if he had any comments and he said, “I don’t think I dare.” Then he just said he hopes the district can continue its smooth progress.

Item 7.2, the board approved 7-0.

On Item 8.9, Kirk Nicholas presented.

He spoke about MAP (Measures of Academic Progress). He said problems with the program previously earned the district a significant price cut for a year. He said 8,000 students have gone through MAP testing and the district office is getting daily reports.

And, believe it or not, at 7:39 p.m., the meeting ended.
