Incoming Superintendent Steve Lowder’s contract with Stockton Unified does not start until July 1. So in theory at least, he could have finished the school year at Hemet Unified. Not happening. Hemet Unified is now being led by an interim superintendent.
Lowder and Hemet Unified agreed this week to a mutual separation after a 21-month marriage. Also, according to this article:
“Under the terms of the separation, which was approved by a 6-0 vote, with board member Paul Bakkom absent while traveling abroad, Lowder cannot seek employment with the Hemet district in the future.”
