Superintendent situation

Very little to report since the meeting nearly two weeks ago when the SUSD board voted 5-2 to offer a contract to leading superintendent candidate Emerita Orta-Camilleri. The no votes, by the way, were from Steve Smith and Sal Ramirez.

We may know more after tomorrow’s meeting, depending on the inscrutability level of the announcement following closed session. The relevant item is 1.4.1.
