As healthy as a horse

We reported Tuesday that Trustee Bill Ross missed the SUSD meeting because he was sick. That information came from an SUSD staffer and turned out not to be true. In fact, a hearty sounding Ross reported this morning, he is just fine and was on a business trip in Southern California.

E-mail from a reader: “I read part of your article on SUSD layoffs online and then I went to purchase today’s paper to read the rest of it.  Online, there are ads below the story:  one says there is a shortage of teachers and sells a certification program  and the third one down trains employers on how to do layoffs!!!”
