7/27/2010, 8:30 p.m., 400 block of South Wilson Way: Two teens stole a bag of chips from a boy. They also asked if he was in a gang, punched him and threatened to shoot him. They did not appear armed.

7/28/2010, 5:15 a.m., USA Gasoline, 2705 Country Club Blvd.: A 41-year-old woman was parked outside USA Gasoline, waiting for her boss to arrive and open the station, when a man walked up to her, pointed a gun at her and demanded money. When the woman said she had none, the gunman ordered her to an ATM. The woman couldn’t withdraw money. When she told the gunman he apologized, introduced himself as Gabriel and then said he had been joking about the robbery.

7/28/2010, 8:23 a.m., Central Avenue and Beverly Place: Officers were called on a report that a vehicle had hit a retaining wall. The car was reported stolen, and officers arrested the 34-year-old Stockton woman driving the vehicle on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and a misdemeanor warrant.

7/28/2010, 9:17 a.m., 100 block of Rendon Avenue: A 67-year-old woman was robbed around 9:17 a.m. Wednesday in front of her home in the 100 block of Rendon Avenue. A teenage male approached her as she arrived home, pointed a gun at her and threatened to shoot her. He grabbed her purse and ran, joining up with two other men.

7/28/2010, 11 a.m., 1100 block of North San Joaquin Street:Two people told police they were standing near their car when a driver tried to hit them. They told police the driver was a woman with whom they have had a dispute over a past relationship.

7/28/2010, 7:40 p.m., 300 block of W. 5th Street:A man was shot in the torso, suffering a through-and-through wound police said was not life-threatening.
