Cindy Ramos Fundraiser

Cindy Ramos, 58, was killed Aug. 6 in her Tracy home in an apparent burglary attempt. Today her daughter, Christina Barnes, sent an announcement that a car wash will be held this weekend to raise money to buy a memorial bench for her grave site, and to establish an organization in her memory.

The car wash will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Winners Circle Western Wear, at 20 W. 10th Street, in Tracy. Barnes is asking for a donation of $10 per vehicle.

In her e-mailed announcement, Barnes wrote: She is so very important to us, and unfortunately, in the media it made a story
for a few days, but died down…as was said by a reporter…” a 58 year old
woman died…I just don’t see the story”.

Robert Anthony Morgan and Jorge Morgan, who are married to each other, have been charged with murdering Ramos. They are both scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.

Edit: Cindy Ramos is memorialized on the Web at
