Lewis laid off in Reno

Former Stockton City Manager Mark Lewis has been laid off by the city of Reno, where he became redevelopment director after being fired by the Stockton City Council in 2006, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported. Power play in Reno

There is a proposal in Reno to strip from the city manager the directorship of the Reno Redevelopment Agency, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported Tuesday.   If adopted, redevelopment administrator Mark Lewis, Stockton’s former city manager, would report directly to the Reno City Council.
