City Council going to the dogs (and cats)

The Animal Shelter has been under scrutiny for months and is facing a lawsuit in Superior Court. Discussion of the suit is listed on the closed-session agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the City Council.

The meeting also includes this consent item on the purchasing of vaccinations for animals at the shelter.

Meanwhile, Susan Giraldez of Mayor Anthony Silva’s commission to study the shelter sent along this PowerPoint, which she said she plans to present Tuesday.
