Neener-neener from Forbes

Kurt Badenhausen is back. He’s the Forbes writer who managed to offend so many, explaining why Stockton topped the America’s Most Miserable Cities list two years running. He then sparked a backlash from local residents, like Gregory Basso, who think its roses here.

This time, Badenhausen writes that “Stockton Moves From Miserable To Bankrupt.” There’s more than a touch of I told ya so in his tone. He recycled a quotation City Manager Bob Deis gave him last year about Stockton’s revival starting.

Badenhausen then chides Deis by asking and answering his own question: “The biggest bankruptcy in the history of the U.S.? Change is coming.”

Footnote: Stockton this year ranks eleventh on Forbs’ list of misery.
