Council meeting

Tonight will be Stockton’s final City Council meeting of the year, and it is a packed agenda.

Look for a discussion of bringing in the Urban Land Institute for ideas to revitalize downtown. There will  probably be less talk about extending the contract for Management Partners to give the city’s finances a once-over in advance of upcoming budget planning and labor negotiations.

The city wants to buy five new hybrid sedans for $5,251 each. (How do they do that?) They’ll set the election dates for the primary and general election.
