Two new Parks and Recs Commissioners

Herman Calad and Aaron Edwards made the cut last night as the two newest members of the Stockton Parks and Recreation Commission.

Calad retired in 2008 from his job at Tracy’s Merrill F. West High School, where he was principal for 12 years. He’s got a BA from Fresno State and an MA from the University of San Francisco. He has 36 years of experience in education and 21 in the classroom. This information comes from his application.

Edwards began working this year for Hall and Company in Stockton where he works in accounting and collections. He lists as his education Lincoln High School and Strider University online.
