Proposed dispensary will appeal denial

The Stockton Planning Commission on Thursday rejected a medical marijuana collective’s bid to open a dispensary on West Fremont Street.

Howard Seligman, a lawyer for the Stockton Non-Profit Collective, says the group will appeal the decision to the City Council.

They have until July 25 to appeal, and Seligman said “we expect to very quickly.” He said the group expects to get a hearing sometime in September.
