More on review

Another item I missed while away last week:

Marcie Bayne, executive director of the North Valley Labor Federation, on Tuesday wrote a letter to the City Council warning them to adhere to the Brown Act, which governs public meetings, before meeting in closed session that night to discuss City Manager Bob Deis’ job performance. She said she e-mailed it to each council member.

Here’s the Record story that ran in the paper that day. Click here to read Bayne’s letter.

Council members reported no action out of closed session that night, and no action had been expected. They then discussed, for more than three hours, the land-use issues behind connecting sewer and water utilities outside of the city limits.
