Post-weekend items

Welcome back from a long weekend. Wanted to throw up a couple of items here as we get back into the swing of things.

•The most recent city economic development newsletter announces a “Mayor’s Economic Development Summit” next month, in partnership with the Northeastern California Small Business Development Center at San Joaquin Delta College.

•While property owners are receiving ballots this month on a proposed new stormwater system charge, the city is holding community meetings this week to make their pitch to the public.

The meetings will be:

-6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Van Buskirk Community Center

-6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Arnold Rue Community Center
