Triplex owner seeks building permit for repairs after Rivera crash

Fran McVey, the owner of the north Stockton triplex that James Rivera crashed into before he was shot and killed by law enforcement officers, went to City Hall on Tuesday and applied for his building permit to make the repairs, he told me today.

McVey was warned by city code enforcers to start making repairs soon. He said he’ll get started once he gets the materials from Home Depot.
