Miller among hosts at Prop 22 fundraiser

According to a campaign invitation, Vice Mayor Kathy Miller is among the local dignitaries slated to host a fundraiser tonight in Lodi for Proposition 22, the November ballot initiative designed to keep the state from raiding local funds, including transit and transportation money.

The ballot measure is backed by the League of California Cities.

Miller is scheduled to join Lodi City Councilwoman JoAnne Mounce and Lathrop Mayor Kristy Sayles at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. The fundraiser is $75 per person or $100 a couple. “Fine local food and wine” is on the menu. Chris McKenzie, executive director the League, is the keynote speaker, according to the invite.
