Interim City Manager Kevin O’Rourke said the city would find some temporary space if the “city’s ego” can handle it. Council members indicated they can.

Vice Mayor Kathy Miller and Councilman Dale Fritchen said the council could use the Council of Governments building for meetings.

The council members are agreeing to see the item on a future agenda.

7:34 p.m.:

Vice Mayor Kathy Miller said vacating the Lindsay Street properties would allow for redevelopment on those properties.

7:38 p.m.:

In public comment, former Information Technology Director Kevin Grumbling is applauding the council’s support of the move to the building formerly known as Chase Bank Plaza. He is also talking about technology upgrades.
