Trouble in Reno
There is some financial trouble at the ballpark Mark Lewis built in Reno, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. According to a recent report:
A huge drop in downtown property values was not anticipated when the deal was revised last March. Council members didn’t realize the deal would put such a drain on the second redevelopment district.
“The clarity wasn’t presented,” Councilwoman Sharon Zadra said. “We got bad information from the (former) director.”
The subject is the source of some chatter online (here and here, for example).
