Murdoch made public works director
Updated to correct error: Original post misstated when Bob Murdoch started working for the city.
Bob Murdoch, who became interim public works director a year ago, when Jim Giottonini retired, was made the department’s permanent director today, interim City Manager Kevin O’Rourke said.
“Bob, in my mind, has been doing a great job,” O’Rourke said.
Murdoch was previously deputy public works director. He started at the city in August 1990.
